Check Out These Exciting Buick Envision Options

While some people might think of looking at lots of different car options as a bit of a hassle, it’s something we love doing. This probably makes sense since we’re your Buick dealer in Atlanta, and that means looking at and talking about amazing vehicles is what we do each and every day. Still, really digging into the specific options and features of a model like the 2023 Buick Envision is something we’re passionate about and generally what we live for. This is good news for you because it means we know a lot about these vehicles, and we’re happy to answer your questions, discuss your options and what something like the Envision has to offer, and make sure that you find the perfect vehicle. Let’s take a look at the Buick Envision to see what each of its three trim levels has to offer, which can make choosing the right one even easier.
The Envision Preferred
First up, we have the Preferred trim, which is the starting option for the Buick Envision, and it perfectly represents what this stylish crossover has to offer. This model comes with a 2.0L Turbo EcoTec 4-cylinder engine that delivers 228 hp and 258 lb-ft of torque, which is the standard engine on all Envision models. You get a nine-speed automatic transmission with this engine, again standard on all models, and the Preferred comes with front-wheel drive, though all-wheel drive is offered on the Preferred and the other two trims.
You get 18-inch wheels wrapped in all-season tires on the Preferred trim, which also features LED headlamps with automatic on/off functionality. The Preferred has heated power-adjustable outside mirrors that match its body color, along with body-color door handles, deep-tinted glass, and a manual rear liftgate. Inside, you’ll find an eight-inch infotainment display with Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support, a six-speaker sound system, and cloth seating with leatherette details. You get an eight-way power driver’s seat, a six-way manually-adjustable front-passenger seat, a 4.2-inch Driver Information Center display, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and Keyless Open and Start with the Preferred.
The Preferred also comes with Buick’s Driver Confidence suite of safety features that includes a Forward Collision Alert with Automatic Emergency Braking and Front Pedestrian Braking to help you avoid crashes. You also get a Lane Keep Assist system with a Lane Departure Alert to help you avoid drifting from your lane, plus a Following Distance Indicator to warn you when you get too close to the vehicle ahead of you. Rear Park Assist can warn you when you get close to objects detected nearby while maneuvering at low speeds, and you get a Safety Alert Seat that uses seat vibrations to warn you about safety alerts.

The Envision Essence
Next up from the Preferred, we have the Envision Essence, which has a lot of the same features as the starting trim though it adds a number of impressive upgrades and available options. You get the same engine and overall performance with the Essence, along with 18-inch wheels, much like the starting trim. One notable change, however, is that the Essence comes with a hands-free power programmable liftgate at the rear. This makes it easier for you to load and unload the Buick Envision by letting you open it by making a gesture with your foot, and you can program it to open to a set height.
Inside the Essence trim, you’ll find a number of impressive upgrades over the starting options, such as a 10.2-inch infotainment display and a seven-speaker enhanced audio system with an amplifier included for improved sound quality. The Essence comes with perforated leather-appointed seating, including eight-way power driver and front-passenger seats, with heated front seats and memory settings for the driver’s seat. You get a leather-wrapped heated steering wheel in the Essence, with an eight-inch reconfigurable Driver Information Center, Remote Start functionality, and dual-zone automatic climate control.
Safety features are similar between the Essence and Preferred since the Essence also has the Envision Driver Confidence suite with things like a Forward Collision Alert and Automatic Emergency Braking. Some Essence models include a Lane Change Alert with Side Blind Zone Alert, along with a Rear Cross Traffic Alert, though due to ongoing supply shortages, you won’t necessarily find this on every Envision Essence. All of this comes together to make the Essence a fantastic option designed to help keep you and your loved ones safe on the road.
The Envision Avenir
If you’re looking for the pinnacle of Buick luxury and style with the Envision, then you owe it to yourself to check out the legendary Avenir trim and everything it has to offer. Overall performance remains quite similar for the Avenir, though it includes 20-inch Pearl Nickel finish wheels for an added touch of sophistication and a bolder look. You get a panoramic power moonroof on the Avenir model, along with the hands-free power programmable liftgate that also makes the Essence so easy to use and enjoy.
Inside the Envision Avenir, you’ll find a lot of the same features as the Essence, though the Avenir includes a number of upgrades throughout to really elevate your experience once you get behind the wheel. For example, its 10.2-inch Buick Infotainment System includes Navigation to help you get to wherever you need to go, plus you get a Bose Premium nine-speaker sound system to provide you with a truly exceptional audio experience. You get perforated leather-appointed seating in the Avenir, with eight-way power front seats, but the Avenir has heated and ventilated front seats with heated rear seats to ensure everyone inside stays nice and comfy. Along with the eight-inch Driver Information Center display, you get a configurable head-up display in the Avenir, plus Adaptive Cruise Control and a wireless charging pad.
While every Envision model offers incredible safety, the Avenir takes things even further with advanced features like Enhanced Automatic Emergency Braking that augments the standard camera system with radar integration for improved functionality. The Avenir also includes an HD Surround Vision system that gives you a digital overhead view of the area around your vehicle while you’re at low speeds, which can improve your overall visibility—this feature is available for the Essence trim but included with the Avenir. You also get an Enhanced Automatic Parking Assist system that can handle steering and braking for you while maneuvering into or out of parking spots, which functions with both parallel and perpendicular parking, in addition to all of the other great safety features on other Envision models.
