No; however, vehicles can be co-titled.

What is ID.me?

ID.me is one of four companies selected by the federal government to provide a Single Sign On for American citizens that will be accepted across all government websites over the next two years. By confirming your documentation through ID.me, your identity will be verified, making you eligible for the GM First Responder Discount.

How do I claim my responder discount?

Firefighters, Police and EMTs/Paramedics: Visit ID.me to create an account, or if you already have one, log in with ID.me, and then on the GM First Responder Discount landing page click "Get Authorization Number."

911 Dispatchers and Healthcare Professionals: To use the discount, register or sign in. Once signed in, select "911 Dispatch and Health Care" from the Program menu. Then choose "Get Authorization Number" and follow the prompts. Print out your authorization number and take it, along with proof of eligibility (see below), to a participating GM Dealer to receive your vehicle discount.

What should I bring as proof of eligibility?

Firefighters, Police and EMTs/Paramedics: Once you've logged onto our site through ID.me, your identity will be verified, which means you'll no longer be required to provide proof of eligibility at the dealer. However, you must still take your authorization number - along with a copy of your driver's license with the license number redacted - to your dealer when you're ready to purchase or lease a new vehicle.

911 Dispatchers: Participants must present the following, along with a valid authorization number, to a participating GM dealer in order to purchase or lease under the program.
