I brought my truck in for a diagnostic they determined i needed a new transmission. They provider a video of the technician inspection. No other service dept provides that service. I took my truck somewhere else for 2nd opinion same result new transmission needed. Patrick was very helpful and very nice to deal with. Our salesman Ellis Plummer was very helpful we probably wouldn’t bought truck that night because it was getting very close to closing time they didn’t put any pressure on us and didn’t make us feel rushed or uncomfortable. Dwayne is an outstanding service rep. He communicates thoroughly on every aspect of the service process. He gives updates timely and rarely is the work after his estimated completion time. Only service rep that I work with up there!

Couldn’t have had a better experience. I buy A LOT of vehicles and always hate the car buying process. I didn’t hate it this time. Found the perfect truck for my husband, and within a few days we were driving it back to SC. Larion was awesome. He was responsive but not pushy like a lot of sales people. Being 2 hours away, he made it as easy on us as possible. He knows his stuff too. I will purchase from this dealership in the future.

I found my truck online. I research to make sure adequate maintenance has been performed through its history. Ellis Plummer contacted me and we got the paperwork started. Larry displayed a pleasant attitude and had patience when asked questions. He was a great listener. He responded to questions by giving details. Have always gone to dealer for service but will not go anymore due to adding 3% on credit card purchases (Jim Ellis doing this as such a big establishment is pure greed). plus got a quote for worn that was double what i had it done for. I know dealers are a bit more expensive but that was ridiculous. lost me as a customer

My service provider was great unfortunately they were not able to review my entire car and all the components because I did not have the proper technical staff at the dealership which is very disappointing. I had a driver assist fail message and the technical staff who was doing my 45,000 mile. Service were not technicians that could review a driver assist message and not have the proper equipment or proper knowledge to do so very disappointing.
Mr. Larion Downs and Mr. Patrick Bernard were awesome to deal with at Jim Ellis GMC in ATL, No pressure and down to earth, made it a great experience for car buying! Super easy process, super easy transaction and guided me through whole process. Even helped set up all truck features and answered all questions. Full transparency through whole process. Ted in service is very courteous and always explains things. The prices for replacement keys was extremely high. I was also surprised Ted said this dealership did not have the technician to check my existing keyfob not transmitting effectively with the starter…resulting in having to leave car there 2 2days. Finally, communications is done by text rather than phone so I had to call several times to clarify messaging.
