From the moment we walked in we felt very comfortable and relaxed. Larion met with us within a couple minutes and had the vehicle brought around while we chatted for a bit. The vehicle was the cleanest we had seen and he went over aspects of it and never rushed us at all. While on the test drive he went over the different features and explained the differences in the models we had looked at. Once we were "sitting in the chair" it felt more like 2 friends catching up and never like it was a transaction. Waiting for our turn for financing took its normal delay so we kept chatting until they were ready for us. Another low pressure experience with Mr. Joe getting the best rate available and and terms that worked for us. Once done we walked back out to a big red bow on the hood of my new truck and a photoshoot. The next day Larion sent me a video with music that made me feel like I was a batter walking up to home plate with entrance music. Sometimes its the small things that stand out and make a deal more than worth it. I'd like to thank Larion and the staff at Jim Ellis for a wonderful experience 🙂.

I told them about it and they didn’t give a care in the world. The worst part is they haven’t even made it right and I bought this truck in October of last year. Go to Heyward Allen if you want a GMC. Same pricing, and they are honest. Don’t buy from these crooks!!!

I wanted to share some feedback regarding my recent
I wanted to share some feedback regarding my recent experience at Jim Ellis. My vehicle was in service for a pending repair of approximately $1,800, coming only six months after I had already completed a major turbo repair. Because of the circumstances, I made the decision to trade the vehicle and purchase another one from your dealership. The experience started off very positively. The initial greeting and interaction were welcoming and professional. However, at some point during the process, the experience shifted and became much less positive. One unexpected issue was the discussion surrounding the diagnostic fee. Since I was purchasing a vehicle from the same dealership where my vehicle was being serviced, the handling of that charge felt like a curveball and left me disappointed. Additionally, the vehicle I purchased came with only one key, despite being a one-owner lease vehicle. Within days of purchase, I also had to replace the battery in the key fob because the car hesitated to recognize the key fob. The finance process itself was acceptable, but the overall transaction took nearly four hours. My overall impression was that because I was purchasing a lower-priced vehicle, the level of service and attention may have been to lower standards. Whether that was the case or not, it was how the experience felt from my perspective. My recommendation would be to treat every customer and every transaction as important. You never know who you are serving, what their future purchasing may be, or how many people they may influence through their personal and professional

Dewayne and his whole service team were outstanding! After the initial inspection, we were provided with a very helpful & informative video that walked thru their diagnosis of the problem & outlined the recommended repair. And even though it took a day or two longer than we had thought initially, they found & fixed the problem for a lot less than we had (anxiously) expected. Everyone we dealt with at the dealership (including the front receptionist, whose name I don’t know, but who kindly helped arrange a short ride for me to be dropped off at the Enterprise location just down the street) was courteous, friendly & professional. I mean it when I say: as long as g as this is the level of service provided by your dealership, we will never go to another GMC dealer again!

I am currently pleased with the work they was done. The communication from Chris my service advisor left a lot to be desired. Every piece of the process took longer than he said it would. When I spoke with him, I always felt like I was just a number which is the exact opposite of what the hold message says they want you to feel like. When I kept asking about the delays, the information I got from Chris was minimal and he seemed annoyed I asked. I finally had to speak with the manager in the Parts department who gave me a very detailed explanation as to what was going on with the parts. He even told me one has been on back ordered but that it had finally be resolved. He looked up the tracking and told me exactly when they would receive them. I was frustrated that I could not get any of this information from Chris. I'll return to Jim Ellis but will ask for a different service advisor next time. I'll hope to be treated less as a number and be given the information that I am looking for.
