HORRIBLE!
HORRIBLE!!!!!! I wanted to give 0 stars but that wasn't an option. This dealership is crooked and uses unfair business practices. I purchased my vehicle over a month ago and still don't have my tag and title because they are withholding it until I pay them an ADDITIONAL $1,000. At signing, they NEVER told me I was required to put down $1000 cash before I could drive off the lot. I signed for $28,892 per the bill of sale and drove off the lot thinking everything was finalized. A week later, I got a phone call from the shady salesman, Nathan Watson, stating that my bank is requiring that I put down $1000. I called my bank and they stated they are not requiring any down payment from me. A couple weeks later, I get another call from the finance manager at Jim Ellis Marc Starks. I called my bank on 3-way and he stated on a recorded call, "I made a mistake", and seconds later, "the dealership isn't gonna eat this". Evidently, he was supposed to add this $1000 to the total amount to make it $29,892. But when he called my bank to cash the check he told them "$28,892". I asked him several times on this same call, was I supposed to pay this $1000 at signing, because it was never discussed. He stated twice, "no but most times when our customers purchase a new vehicle they put down $1000". Like I said, this was never mentioned or discussed with me before signing and driving off the lot. My bank stated they will not give them anymore money as the check had already been cashed. So Jim Ellis is essentially trying to make me pay it and withholding my tag and title until I do. I will NEVER recommend this crooked business to anyone and I've already contacted Fox 5 and Channel 2 News stations. My next step is to sue.

I told them about it and they didn’t give a care in the world. The worst part is they haven’t even made it right and I bought this truck in October of last year. Go to Heyward Allen if you want a GMC. Same pricing, and they are honest. Don’t buy from these crooks!!!

What an absolute dream of a transaction I had when purchasing my Sierra1500. Jamie and his team did everything they could to make this transaction as painless as possible. We did everything over email and text and I was in and out in under 30 mins. They even offered to deliver the car to me knowing the hectic week we were having. I declined because I wanted to see the car before we purchased but was very nice of them. Best car buying experience I have had in my 35 years of buying cars.

Jim Ellis had my truck for two days and sent it home
Jim Ellis had my truck for two days and sent it home without fixing the problem. The service advisor said they couldn’t find the problem I described. I learned this from the service advisor after leaving messages for two days and then trying to reach the service manager. The service manager was supposed to call me back within 30 minutes and I never heard from him either. Do you have a bunch of lazy staff. I’ve shared photos of the service safety restraint light that keeps coming on every 20 to 30 miles. I’ll give Jim Ellis one more try to fix the truck the right way. Communication was terrible during the whole experience and no one seemed interested in helping. I was always passed off to somebody else or transferred. I would send your entire staff back for retraining, On the other hand, I had an incredible experience at the Jim Ellis Ford dealership, their service tech called me and informed me of any work that was being done. He went above and beyond. How many more times do I have to bring it to you to tell me that it’s not broken before I can claim a lemon law?

The items fixed have not been repaired properly. Still have maintenance lights on, still have loud squeaky brakes, and have been given no feedback on the oil leak. Was told I would have to bring it back when they could look into it more. Why? The car was with the service department for the day. I’m having to bring my car back for the third time to try and get the items fixed. My overall experience is poor

Worst car purchase experience, I have ever had. I purchased a used Jaguar online, worked with a sales person and agreed on a price. This was the easy part. I live in NC and I paid to have the car delivered. The day the car arrived, the driver didn't have any paper work for car, and the temporary tag was in someone else name. I called the dealer back and make them aware of issues. A week goes by and no contact from anyone at dealership. When the paper work arrives it has the wrong address on all paper work . None of the forms where signed or completed by dealer, I have contacted an attorney. They just want your money. No one from dealer has contacted since I handed the driver a check. 4/23/24-I still have not gotten a signed damage form for car purchased and the temp tag expires this week, I have contacted my DMV here in NC and they don't have any paper work for car. Can you please advise ?
