How would we describe Buick’s 2025 lineup? Simple, effective, and to the point. You’re making an excellent decision by wishing to learn more about the latest this world-renowned manufacturer offers because you’ll surely discover your dream car once visiting a Buick dealer like ourselves. We’ve organized our overview of this lineup from smallest to largest with one slight exception, which we’ll discuss when we get there. Let’s begin!

The Envista

The Envista is one of Buick’s smallest models. That doesn’t mean it’s uncomfortable to sit in or lacks the necessary space for ample cargo room. This compact SUV has a starting price of $22,900, making it currently Buick’s only vehicle in the sub-$25k price range. Before discussing the Buick Envista’s size, let’s quickly look into what else it offers.

The 2025 Buick Envista employs a turbocharged 1.2L I-3 engine under the hood with a traditional 6-speed automatic transmission. The Envista outputs 137 hp and 162 lb-ft of torque, lending enough power for everyday travel and boasting impressive fuel efficiency. The 2025 Envista has the best highway fuel economy ratings out of Buick’s current lineup, EPA-estimated to get 28 MPG in the city, 32 MPG on the highway, and 30 MPG combined. The 2025 Envista has a 13.2-gallon fuel tank, and a full one will last you around 396 miles.

Each Envista trim has a standard 11-inch infotainment center. It’s one of the best in its price range, with a premium tablet-sized screen complemented by features like wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and Bluetooth connectivity for two devices simultaneously. Every 2025 Envista also has an 8-inch Driver Information Center on the dashboard. A 6-way manually-adjustable driver’s seat is standard unless you purchase the Avenir, where an 8-way power-adjustable seat takes its place. This power-adjustable seat is an optional feature on the other two trims.

The second row of seats can fold down to increase cargo space by more than double with the 2025 Envista. Your available cargo space ranges from 20.7 cu.ft. to 42 cu.ft., depending on if your backseats are folded. You’ll have 39.4 inches of headroom and 41.9 inches of legroom in the front row, benefiting you and the passenger beside you. Second-row passengers have 37.3 and 38.7 inches of headroom and legroom, respectively. The 2025 Envista stands 61.3 inches tall, 71.5 inches wide, and 182.6 inches long.

The 2025 Envista has several standard advanced safety features despite being Buick’s most cost-effective vehicle. You’ll have cutting-edge safety features like Forward Collision Alert, Automatic Emergency Braking, and Front Pedestrian Braking to alert you of and possibly prevent an oncoming front-end collision with drivers or pedestrians.

Other popular standard features include Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning. These features are designed to capture your attention when you drift into an opposing lane and can provide slight steering correction. Lane Change Alert with Blind Zone Alert is available for all three trims. These features monitor your blind spot and warn you if switching lanes is unsafe because of another driver. These are only a few standard and available safety features and are also on Buick’s other 2025 models.

The Encore GX

The Buick Encore GX is the exception we mentioned at the beginning. It’s a subcompact SUV that is not as long as the compact Envista but has more cargo room. The Encore GX is also the next in line regarding price, so we feel it’s a natural progression of our list and is placed next as such.

The 2025 Encore GX starts at $26,000. It comes standard with the same turbocharged 1.2L I-3 engine seen on the 2025 Enclave and produces equal horsepower and torque. However, the 2025 Encore GX has smoother acceleration thanks to its standard Continuously Variable Automatic Transmission (CVT). Fuel efficiency is stellar, including the best city mileage in the lineup, with EPA-estimated ratings of 30 MPG in the city and 31 MPG on the highway, and filling its 13.2-gallon fuel tank nets you around 396 miles until the next fill-up.

The 2025 Encore GX has an exclusive turbocharged 1.3L I-3 engine available that produces 155 hp and 174 lb-ft of torque. Front-wheel drive (FWD) and a CVT remain standard, but all-wheel drive (AWD) and a 9-speed automatic transmission are available.

The 2025 Encore GX’s infotainment tech is nearly identical to the 2025 Envista, so we won’t rehash what we’ve discussed. All you need to know is that your favorite features are accounted for, and you get the same incredible 11-inch touchscreen. The 2025 Encore GX also has the 2025 Envista’s best safety features. One key difference, and a welcomed upgrade, is that the Lane Change Alert with Side Blind Zone Alert is standard on the base trim. Rear Cross Traffic Alert is also standard with the base trim, which will alert you to apply the brakes while reversing if another vehicle is about to pass by.

The front row of your 2025 Encore GX has 39.71 inches of headroom and 40.9 inches of legroom. The second row offers 38.1 inches of headroom and 36.01 inches of legroom. Cargo space is upgraded over the Envista, with 23.5 cu.ft. of available space with backseats upright and 50.2 cu.ft. when folded. The 2025 Encore GX is 171.16 inches long, 71.39 inches wide without mirrors, and 64.12 inches tall.

The Envision

The 2025 Buick Envision is a premium compact SUV with a starting MSRP of $36,000. Like any 2025 Buick model, its three trim levels are the Preferred, Sport Touring, and Avenir. However, luxury is amplified across these trims when you buy a 2025 Envision. A turbocharged 2.0L I-4 engine paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission is standard with every 2025 Envision. This engine outputs 228 hp and 258 lb-ft of torque, and handling feels great thanks to standard AWD. The Envision is also capable of light towing, with a maximum towing capacity of 1,500 lbs.

Fuel efficiency is superb despite the performance gains—a benefit of sticking with a turbocharged engine. The 2025 Envision earns EPA-estimated ratings of 22 MPG in the city and 28 MPG on the highway. A larger vehicle means a larger gas tank, and the Envision delivers with its impressively sized 16.1-gallon fuel tank; when full, you’re estimated to get around 386 miles of travel.

The 2025 Envision boasts a beautiful 30-inch screen stretching beyond the steering wheel to where the passenger side begins. This screen, presented in a panorama style, delivers on Buick’s intentions to digitize everything from your built-in media hub to a Driver Information Center that shares the same display, albeit in a contained portion of screen real estate. The infotainment center has Google Built-In, and beneath it is a standard wireless charging pad.

The 2025 Envision is a respectably sized compact SUV inside and out. Outside, it is 64.6 inches tall, 182.7 inches long, and 74.1 inches wide. It has 39.6 inches of front-row headroom and 40.4 inches of front-row legroom. Second-row passengers have 38.9 and 39.3 inches of headroom and legroom, respectively. We’re impressed with the 2025 Envision’s cargo capabilities—especially its always-available 25.2 cu.ft. of cargo space. Like the other SUVs we’ve discussed, folding down the second row increases cargo space; this time, it’s 52.7 cu.ft.

The Enclave

The Buick Enclave is the largest vehicle the manufacturer produces. It’s a midsize three-row SUV with a starting price of $45,000. The Enclave provides an unforgettable driving experience that’ll remain feeling fresh years from now. It’s also the only Buick vehicle that currently makes more than 300 hp, thanks to its standard turbocharged 2.5L I-4 engine paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission that outputs 328 hp and 326 lb-ft of torque. This power doesn’t go to waste, either, as the 2025 Enclave has a maximum towing capacity of 5,000 lbs.

The 2025 Enclave is less fuel-efficient than its peers but does very well for its size. FWD is standard, and AWD is optional. This year’s Enclave’s best EPA-estimated ratings of 20 MPG in the city and 27 MPG on the highway come from the FWD models, though AWD models’ figures are not too much lower. The Enclave has the largest fuel tank of any 2025 Buick vehicle: a 19.4-gallon tank that can travel around 446 miles when full.

Your 2025 Enclave will have the same fantastic 30-inch screen we discussed with the Envision. An integrated 5G Wi-Fi hotspot is standard, helping you reach the internet on the go. Every Enclave comes with heated power-adjustable front seats and a heated steering wheel. These are a few examples of how the Enclave provides a more luxurious experience than its peers, but there’s still more.

The Enclave’s primary highlight is its third-row seating. It’s the only Buick vehicle that supports more than five passengers, with a standard maximum capacity of seven people. It’s the largest Buick vehicle by design, including cargo space. The 2025 Enclave is a whopping 207.6 inches long, 79.6 inches wide without mirrors, and 70.98 inches tall.

The 2025 Enclave has 23.6 cu.ft. of cargo room readily available, with each seat upright. Folding the third row increases this to 57.7 cu.ft.—the highest cargo space to passenger capacity ratio you can currently get in Buick’s lineup. Lastly, folding both the second and third rows increases cargo space again to 97.4 cu.ft.—the highest in the lineup.

Selecting Your Buick

Now that you know everything about the 2025 Buick lineup, you can easily find one that matches what you’re looking for. Each Buick model is well-suited for its target demographics. For example, the Enclave is an excellent choice for families of five or more people, and the Envista is an affordable option for commuters with an eye for luxury. So what’s our point? Although Buick only has four vehicles in its lineup, one of them would be perfect for you—we guarantee it.
